Dear Parent or Guardian,

Welcome to Pennies for the Planet! Each year this national campaign focuses on three critical conservation projects around the United States. By inviting kids to collect pennies and other spare change for these projects and to get involved in local conservation efforts, the campaign offers young people fun ways to make a positive difference for the planet. In the process, it demonstrates the value of charitable giving.

We hope Pennies for the Planet will spur families to work together for a worthy cause, get outside and explore their surroundings, and incorporate Earth-nurturing habits into daily family life. Check out the ideas below.

Finally, we’d love to hear from you, too, so feel free to share your experiences with us on Facebook or by e-mail to pennies@togethergreen.org.
