Welcome to Pennies for the Planet. This exciting program is all about helping young people get involved with conservation in age-appropriate ways. It started in 1995 to let kids know they could make a difference by taking part in local conservation action projects and by collecting, saving, and sending in pennies for projects around the world.

By taking part in this year’s Pennies for the Planet campaign, young people can help three important and fragile habitats and the plants and animals that live there. Along the way they’ll learn valuable lessons about conservation, living green, and charitable giving.
