Innovation Grants

The TogetherGreen Innovation Grants Program supports creative and ambitious projects that engage diverse communities and find innovative solutions to environmental challenges.

You can download all information about the Innovation Grants Program in the Everything You Need to Know document. This covers everything you will find on the website and more.

TogetherGreen one-year grants fund projects that:

  • Conserve or restore habitat and protect species, improve water quality or quantity, and reduce the threat of global warming;
  • Engage new and diverse audiences in conservation actions; and
  • Inspire and use innovative approaches and technologies to engage people and achieve conservation results.

Innovation Grant awards go to organizations within the Audubon network that are working with partners in their communities, and that have the passion, commitment, and vision to move people to take action and achieve lasting conservation results. If you are interested in applying but your organization is not part of the Audubon network, we encourage you to try to find an Audubon group you can partner with near you. If there are no Audubon groups in your area, your organization may apply with partners of its own.

In 2012, we will award at least 40 grants, ranging from $5,000 to $80,000, with an average grant size of $25,000. Note that requests above this amount are likely to face considerably more competition than requests of $25,000 or less.

In addition, we will be offering three to five planning grants of $5,000 or less. See Planning Grants for details.

My daughter took it upon herself to find a jar, create a label for it, and collect change. I am proud of the fact that she took initiative and did this all on her own.
